XL Sim cards - dial to Australia

Hello All.

Arrived in Bali and managed to get the XL sim card set up without too much grief.

Text messages work fine but I can't seem to dial voice lines.

Just one problem - the numbers that I got off the forum don't appear to work - I keep getting an error message.

For a Sydney number I'm dialling 01000 2 then the local number.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
