then take cash, much easier and your hotel will probably have a safe or safety boxes to keep it in. If you take travellers cheques you will need your passport each time you try to change them or at the very least if you use the same changer each day they will want to see a copy of it. All money changers will accept both, and there are plenty around, try and use the Kodak regulated ones or the banks or even your hotel the exchange rate isn't that much different only a few cents usually.

I wouldn't be wearing the gold, it gets in the way of massages and gets all oily, also people will think you have money.

If you haven't got your luggage sorted by now then it may be too late, depends who you are flying with, check with your airline.
