Way to expensive to just operate one flight a week, you can not justify the expenses. Also risky for the airline. What happens when something goes wrong? Wait one week for the next avaible flight? An ailine needs at least 3 weekly flights before they would consider opening a route, unless its to an very unusual and remote destination.
