many South Australians gave up on Bali because it was just too bloody hard. Transfers between International airports in Sydney & Perth & 14 to 20 hours travel for something that flying directly take just over 5 hours.
Had there been direct flights in 2007 I am sure that the figures would have been well over 20000 for 2007.
Good justification for at least 1 flight per week.
For the info of posters below, prior to 2006 the flights were Melb/ADEL/DPS & DPS/MELB/ADEL alternately each week.
Why it ceased is still a mystery.
