I had my pic with the lion a coupla weeks back. Lady in front of me asked if they had drugged him up- vehemently denied. I believe lions sleep heaps during the day. When I sat with him the handlers moved him around and he quickly snapped at them- to me he wasn't sedated. I enjoyed the experience and I really liked the park. The animals all seemed comfortable and looked like they were well looked after. Some of it was a bit naff, concrete logs and all but hey, overall it was ok.
