Firstly I presume that payment was deducted already from lost credit card? I was just wondering what would they do if your accommodation had been paid for by someone else not going with you,( as a present say).The person whose name appears on the booking should be the one that needs to identify themselves, so a passport would be sufficient.I ahve booked accommodation through wotif in australia for my daughter and that also states must have credit card but I contact the Motel direct and explain this and there has been no problem.
