thank you for your responses regarding gede kus rendra, but for some reason the site is not allowing me to respond. i have a question for "jamjam" regarding the banjar in Kuta.
the banjar is a tribe, no? how do i contact them in kuta? i found out that indeed there is a "br. tegal gundul" (i was one letter off).
there was an article on gede in the bali post, but it is in balinese and my balinese is pretty limited. it is from last year.

if anyone can translate this to give me more clues as to how to contact him, it would be greatly appreciated.
and yes, there are still such things as telegrams (western union, anyone?), but not sure if bali has a specific wire company that i can contact.
