did not bother me, I am a big shopper and i thought the little bit of seclusion would bother me,,,nope didnt...mad e me relax!! Patra grounds are very big and spaced out.... 1 massive lagoon pool, 1 smaller lap pool and another big sort of infinity pool just for adults...the layout of resort is great, nice to walk to your room or catch a golf buggy. We stayed in a Deluxe suite but moved to club suite, identical layout to deluxe but just a little bigger bathroom and decorated a bit different...The olny thing with club suite is the location overlooking the floating lounge pond which provides free snacks and cocktails to club and villa suite guests...If you decide to stay at Patra = ask for a deluxe suite on north side (if you have kids) as these suites have sliding doors...for privacy...Deluxe suites have buffet with storage and fridge, dining table and lounge room with tv, the sliding doors with balcony, then sliding doors to queen bed with tv - corridor to wardrobes dressing table and very large bathroon with seperate shower and bath...loads of space...it has a real resort feel and whilst laying by pool, it is beautiful to be watching the beach with planes landing....to get to shops you can walk along beach 10min walk or catch free shuttle from hotel or a cab for $2.00...takes 5 mins..easy easy easy...try the patra you will love it...cheers Lisa
