Well how do you put it all into words....I am sure most of you will understand the feeling.....having spent the first 18 days of August amidst all the wonderful things that a Bali Holiday involves. The people of Bali, their huge broad smiles and their gentle manners. Just to watch the poetry of the prayer baskets being offered by so many graceful ladies is a sight to remember.
Sorry, getting carried away, but to say the least my wife and I enjoyed our latest (of many) visit to beautiful Bali.
We are a couple in our mid seventies and this year we decided to stay in Sanur for the first time. What a wise move that was. Following information obtained via the BTF we booked 12 nights at the Villa Pondok Ayu and were so pleased with our decision that following our initial nights stay we extended our visit by eight days with the cooperation of Garuda's Sanur Office who managed to change our flights back to Perth. One advantage of initially booking direct with the airline.
Well we did all the normal things enjoying several shopping trips into Kuta and Seminyak but enjoying the return to the calmness of Sanur. The visit to the Safari Park is a must, but make sure you go during the week, as it gets very busy at weekends. We had thought we would get to see some more of the East Coast but even with eighteen days we ran out of time. (There is always next year I suppose!!)
Our thanks go to Barbara and Steve our Hosts. Gede their manager and his wife Made and their beautiful assistants Putu and Kadek.....with luck we will see you next year.
