Sorry B but its NSW school holidays 1st two weeks of Oct & I know at least a 2 dozen families heading over to area then. As I believe it is very much booked out all around Kuta & surrounding areas so goodluck finding accommodation!
I stay at Puri Raja will be there on the 29th Sept it's a great hotel. We have been to Jimbaran Bay all resturants along beach on the sand sell seafood. You can even pick your own from tanks at some. Great spot to sit at your table on the sand & watch the sunset so get there early.
Mozzie nets every where at all the cushion/bedding shops will be easy to find.
DVDs just tell the person in the shop what type of movies you like, action, kids, thriller etc lastest releases & they will select for you. Look in back of sunday paper used to be a top ten list each week in movie section?
Have flown Garuda before all was fine nice meal friendly staff.
Taxi approx 50,000 to 60,000 from airport but as petrol prices have gone up not sure?
