after having been there and Pupuan, I believe the smaller more intimate valley rice terraces of Pupuan are even better.
I agree about the rice fields behind Canggu on the way to Tabanan and Tanah Lot. Best time is early in the morning when the workers make their way to the fields and the mountains can be seen in the background.
