I am sure Qantas and presumably Jetstar are more security concious than Garuda. They also have a body search and will not allow duty free due to risk of corruption I presume.
Indojet allow duty free in hand baggage.
It's a shame because duty free Denpasar us so much cheaper than Aus!!
