on a plane who was on the way back from an anti-terrorism meeting in java. i asked them about this very matter and was told 'there is so much intelligence in bali at the moment that if something DID happen, we would be very surprised. there is a lot going on that you will never know about, so go on living your life as you should.'
on that plane, i also read an article in the jakarta post stating that the bombers are asking to be beheaded rather than shot. however, the law at the moment states that shooting them is the way they will go. the issue of how it is done is a separate issue and it is believed that this should not have any effect on the execution of the bombers.
having said the above, i would not be overly surprised if anything did happen after the executions, but i am not letting it destroy my quality of life over here.
life goes on and i will not let these people define what i can and cant do.
