from this guy on the plane. from what he explained to me (he is muslim) the ramadan period is for cleansing and purity, and the execution would rightly happen prior to this period.
although i am not one who would vote for the death penalty, and nor would i want to be the one to pull the trigger, i think that the sooner this execution is done the better.
