Its pretty easy, done it a few times.
Just proof of Id: passport
A letter saying u want to invite the person to Australia for a holiday, That u actually know the person and have met them personally, you became friends and want them to see your town or whatever. That u will provide full financial support for them while they are here. U will provide accommodation, meals transport, medical bills (if needed) etc...
A bank statement showing u have the funds to support them while they are here (min $1000 per month u want them to be here)
Maybe a pay slip to show u are working but i dont think they really need it, depends how good u want to make the application :)I didnt put them in though.
