Several stories this past week from friends in Lombok that Aussies have missed their connections to Oz. Be careful not to book the afternoon flights from Lombok to Bali, esp on Merpati, if you have a flight home from Bali to Oz (or elsewhere for that matter) that night. Merpati is known to cancel these afternoon flights occasionally and that means bad news if you are planning an international connection later the same day out of Bali.
