There have been several posts here on fraudulent behaviour by Bali jewellers lately. There is NO hallmarking standard in Bali - you rely totally on the integrity of the jeweller.

Probably 90% of jewellers in the recognised 'gold' street (Jalan Hasanudrin in Denpasar) ARE honest - but - how can you be sure!!??
