If you take your dog to Bali and then want to bring it back then you will be up for between $8-10,000 and the dog will have to be in Singapore for up to 9 months before coming to Australia. Also it is very true what Helen has said about your dog being stolen from your property and either taken for food or just killed because your neighbour does not like dogs. There is a dog currently in the BAWA clinic (our group in Ubud) who had his belly sliced open 5 days ago because the man who lived next door to him decided he would do it for fun. Poisoning and theft or mutilation of dogs in some areas of Bali is rampant, not so much by the Balinese people but the Javanese who has a dislike for dogs.
