The thought of not being able to get your dog back to Australia would be terrible. I have only heard of one dog being brought into Australia from Bali. It took 6 months of quarantine and over $8,000.
Another real terror is the thought of your dog being taken from your yard, tortured and killed for meat. I am not exaggerating in the slightest when I write this. It happens quite often, if a dog is well feed and not sickly like the street dogs that you see. They can also be taken for ceremonial offerings
I'm sure that if Angela or one of the animal groups read this they will tell you that this a real threat to your loved dog.
