if the airline offers refund or offers another flight, then "I think" your insurance doesn't cover it, Cancellation covers things like if you have to cancel due to illness etc ( which you need medical cert)because if there is a refund or offer of another flight, then there really is no loss, therefore no cover for inconvience, I think most policies don't cover airline disruption, having said that, should you have already departed, and flights are cancelled, you should be covered to get home, there are so many policy out there now, One needs to check it out thoroughly these days, Baliblonde rebooked for next week, so all is good
