It's got nothing to do with being Balinese, or Indonesian for that matter. The main topic is about foreigners purchasing real estate in Indonesia.
The old saying that I was using as an example, is exactly that. It's not a shock to hear. It's like, well, you can buy a 'shonky' car and you can buy a 'shonky property' from a 'shonky' dealer.
If you don't understand then forget it!
