Sanur questions?

we intend on checking out Sanur during our Sept/oct holiday.I'm not sure if we should stay overnight somewhere so we can do a full day of looking around,dinner and then no doubt a dessert of lots of Bingtangs for hubby and magaritas for me!!Any suggestions,should we make our way back to Kuta that night or would we be able to walk in and find somewhere to stay the night for 6 of us?
