Can't understand why so many love it. Stayed there twice for a few days as part of package deals & never again. Tacky place with people drinking beer at brekky time & smoking in the restaurant, wearing only shorts with their beer bellies hanging over - erky perky!
We found the staff to be OK at best. GVC is affiliated with airline package deals - & places with such deals really couldn't give a flying F about the people staying there - after all, there are many more coming as part of the airline packages. Plenty of other hotels available for less $ if you like that area. And masses more elsewhere. That part of Legian (Jl Padma Utara) is second only to Poppies 2 for hassling.
