Jewellery setting question

Does anyone know if it is possible to get diamonds "pressure set" into a gold ring. I am not sure of the exact name of the setting but the diamonds are pressure set into the band and the appearance is that they are flush with the gold there are no claws or surround. Any help appreciated.
