I love both those hotels, but because there are 4 of us we stay at the melasti. If you are wanting to do as you normally do, sitting on the balcony having a few bintangs overlooking the pool, then you would probably be best off staying in the newer wing at the melasti. Either the superior there or even the suite rooms in the new wing would give you ample room for 3 and all these rooms look directly at the pool.
