we are staying at a few different hotels this trip which is in two weeks time !! YAHOO
One hotel we paid one night as a deposit on our credit card. Ubud hotel again - I faxed through our credit card details and Aston in Nusa Dua as well.
The last one we actually paid a nights accomm directly into a bank account they gave us.
I know it is a bit off putting giving out your credit card details but unfortunately not a lot of choice. They have to have a deposit.
Maybe you could ask if there is a bank account you could transfer a deposit into
good luck
