The night before our departure, busy packing final time and the zip breaks on the bag. So on the way to dropping off the dogs at the kennels, we purchase another case and do a quick repack in the street. Off to the airport, allowed plenty of time, but had no problem anyway, sitting in carpark drinking a bottle of champers to get the ball rolling. Then a couple of beers in TJ,s at Tullamarine.
Flight on time with Jetstar is this a good sign for jetstar travellers guess again, lol. Arrived on time, straight to the Kuta Beach Club for 10 days in paradise, room is ok but cant see to many aussies around, usually heaps go to this hotel hmmmmmm.
Day 1, Breakfast ok, but way down on previous visits to this hotel, a few Japenese here, but hotel is very quiet.
Walked to Centro, the traffic still takes a bit of getting use to, this is our 5th trip to Bali. Coffee at Starbucks and then greeted at Centro by the dancing staff as the store opens, its really cool to watch, if you get there at 10 am check it out, I wonder if it would work over here, to boost employee bonding.
Then walked across the road to visit Dianne's and Jenny,s fixed price shops, purchases some beautiful tops with thin straps and elastic bodice for 35,000rp.
Then we went to Pepito,s for a few bintangs, cc,s and vegemite.
Back to room for a well earned beer and some sambuca.
Lunch at Bamboo corner in Poppies 1, ordered guacamole, Nasi Goreng, Mia Goreng and 2 beers, total cost 49,000, really big serves couldnt finish it all, would highly recommend this restuarant.
Back to room, because hubby needed a nanna nap, so I started to watch a dvd, on our player we bought from home, but we left the remote at home, luckily if you press the pause button it also works as a play button, phew. Walked across road to Mataharis and purchased a kettle for 29,000, coffee for 21,000 and 2 mugs 30,000 all up about $9 au.Dvd shopping buy 5 get 2 free at 10,000rp each.also purchased a folder that holds 50 for 50,000rp.
Dinner at Sentok down the road in Singa Sari for our hotel. 2 beers, 1 cocktail, Brushetta, Satay and Rice total 150,000rp. Great service even comes with card tricks and very busy. Watched a few more dvd,s then passed out around 10.30pm.
