We haven't been back for almost 18 months so have noticed many differences
1. The streets are far cleaner. There seems to be a lot of cleaning gangs around.
2. Hardly any dogs in awful condition. So far, I've noticed two, which is great.
3. There is an amazing amount of building work going on, God only knows what will go in them all, when there's already so many empty places.
4. There seems to be less beggars than we remembered, but this may be because we're compairing it to India...
5. In the daytime, in Jalan Legian there really doesn't seem to be too many tourists, but down Seminyak way, is crazy in the evening.
6. Bali belly is still a bummer. I'm grounded today, and was very ill yesterday. Not happy Jan, everyone else has gone to the lion park. Rekcon any self respecting lion couldn't be bothered to eat me at the moment.
7. We've stayed many times at the Green Garden, and are in doubt as to whether we'd stay there again. I suspect it's become a victim of it's own success.
