(maybe 10 or so). I have a back injury and have to have a downstairs room. We always specify that, when we arrived there apparently were none available. I had to negotiate for over an hour and go across to Febris to discuss it in more detail. I was dissapointed that as a many times repeat customer, who paid more than 6 months in advance, they felt it was too hard to do. I had to use Paulus' name (the owner) several times.
We have previously allways been really happy here, it has such a relaxed atmosphere that we feel at home. I suspect that they're trying to run it more 'professionally', but it's lost something.
The meals have doubled in price, halved in quality, and are only about 2/3 the size they previously were. I had NEVER had a bad meal there before, but unfortunately can't say that now.
ON the other side, the staff are WONDERFUL. They really do a great job. I needed two rush trips at silly hours to the doctor and the apotek, and they really looked after me well.
That's how we've found it, and I know several other guests have agreed.
Don't let it put you off staying there, it's just not the place it used to be.
