and all was good. The renovations are still happening but did not affect us at all. Spoke to some of the staff taking the redundancies and they seemed okay with it. Spoke to some staff at other hotels and apparently it is a fact of life to be made redundant at certain ages or after so many years of service. They see it as a way to keep the employment cycle happening. The ones I spoke to seem to already have ideas of what they are moving onto.
