several years ago we took our family,daughter,son-in- law and 2 grandchildren with us to visit the Hope childrens home which we had been visiting for years.We had a wonderful time with Sandra and the children but after we had left my daughter said to me in a shocked voice "Mum, they are sleeping 3 to a bed the little ones"---------hey!!! what did you expect.Doubt she has forgotten that experience.That trip we also visited our sponsor children at school and the Bumi Sehat birthing centre in Ubud.
They had heard us speaking of our visits to these places but until seeing things themselves had never really realized just what the conditions were.
A real eye opener for them.
