we are also from adelaide and have flown via perth and via melbourne this time via singapore due to cheaper flights that i have booked and paid for in january to fly in november/dec due to special at a travel fair. however NEVER AGAIN will i go from perth yes there is a shuttle bus free if you fly qantas. BUT the 5 hour wait on the way back when you are tired is a killer and the ground staff in PERTH are so rude that it has cured me of ever going to perth again i would rather fly to london then to bali than have to go to PERTH airport.
it works out quicker for us to go AD SIN DEN than ad per den.
