its pretty much next door although there is a small hotel in between. Its great for families and as Shaz says its right on the beach and in a great position to all the lovely restaurants near the jayakarta.
Our family stay at the melasti every year and find it good value for money for a 3 star place and I would recommend the Old Suite Rooms for a family.(there is four of us).
Having breakfast overlooking Legian beach is a highlight of our trip.
