I managed to book a seat from CGL to KUL and then on to DPS for 20 January 2009. The cost was $A164.00 for the CGL/KUL leg including 20 kg of luggage and a pre-booked seat. The cost of the KUL/DPS leg was $A42.68 including a serving of Roti Channai. All up the cost works out at $A206.68.
The Air Asia site is extremely slow and requires considerable patience.
Now that I have booked my ticket, I realize that I have created three problems.
1. How to get to CGL an hour before the flight departs at 08.55.
2. I have paid for 20 kg of checked in luggage to KUL, but my baggage allowance is only 15 kg to DPS.
3. The plane is scheduled to arrive in KUL at 15.25 but the flight to DPS is scheduled to leave at 16.40.
