There is no vaccine for malaria...take the usual mosquito precautions as dengue and other virus type are more of a problem but more in wet season.
Hep A and B is a sensible vaccine to get for long term use...hepatitis A is common in SE Asia amongst tourists and hep B is more common than HIV.
Typhoid vaccine is also another goody for future travel.
I guess it is one of those expenses for travel including the add ons like travel insurance.
