I agree with everything you said about the Sofitel. My husband & I inspected it on our last holiday in November and was given a tour. We were very disappointed in the resort and the service as a whole. We thought it was dirty and very run down and would not consider ever staying there. We are going in 3 weeks and staying at the Santika as we sometimes do. We also stay at the Discovery Kartika Plaza. I think these two hotels leave the Sofitel for dead.
