their top 5 things, not in order, were:

#Swimming in the Royal Pools at Tirtagangga, spring fed crystal clear cold water, a wonderful experience for adults and kids, the place is really beautiful, the restaurant on the grounds has delicious food as well.

#Snorkeling the boat wreck near Amed, very safe, shallow, easy dive about 15 feet off shore with a rope over the wreck to hang onto and pull yourself along. Lots of fish and coral.

#Feeding the giant Turtles at a turtle conservation near Sanur named "Citraman Penyu", I only know the name because we took a photo of the sign out the front, but the experience was amazing hand feeding these giant turtles at water level, by hand having to jump back when they got to close! WOW.

#The bird markets at Denpasar more like a big strange pet shop that takes up 2 streets, a great experience again for kids and adults, lots of weird things for sale. Mostly the animals were well kept, a few things, like baby monkeys we just ignored as we don't want to encourage them for tourist sake.

# Staying at Alam Shanti near Ubud and feeling so special, having to walk through the monkey forest to get to and from Ubud.

Would you stay a night maybe at Candi Dasa? it is so different and will show your daughter a much softer side of Bali. Also easy to do Amed and the Royal pools from here, it really is worth it.

The bird markets and the Turtle conservation places were both places I had never heard of, that a driver we had in Sanur recommended to us, we were a bit worried about the bird markets but it was just like a big strange pet shop taking up 2 streets, very cool.

Cheers Deb.
