Turtle island, but I don't think it is the place people talk about where the turtles are kept in enclosures with little water.It was like a big swimming pool with cement steps leading down to the water, all under cover, no other animals there, nothing near buy. The ladies were very proud of their official government certificates on the walls saying that they were legitimately helping the Turtles? I'm sure there is room for improvement, but our driver assured us and we got the feeling that they were trying their best.
There was no entry fee and you just put a donation into a little timber box, they had free seaweed to feed the turtles and we were the only tourist there.
I was going to say I could send you a photo of the sign out front that says Citrataman Penyu but I accidentally deleted it!!! Our driver was Agus from the Besakih Beach Resort, but I'm sure if you asked around others would know of it.
