We'll have to make a point of staying in Ubud next year. Obviously, not at the Tegal Sari though because we travel with 3 children, but we'll have a look around at available accommodation none-the-less. Thanks for the hint about buying the passes for the Safari Park from the kiosks. Will try to negotiate more along with the Waterbom entrance.
A big thank you for posting those costings from your Waterbom receipt. I've since made a note to allow AUD$200 for the day -perhaps bring our own towels :)
