You are taking a risk importing electronic goods, warrantys are usually for about 7 days to 10 days when purchasing in Bali. Instead of getting a container to ship back electronic goods that have no warranty, your better off buying them at home and getting a proper warranty.

Nintendo's and X-box consoles etc are almost the same prices in Australia and if you look out for specials at electronic outlets in Oz you can get cheaper. The only advantage of buying a xbox or playstation console is that you buy them chipped therefore all the games sold in Bali work on the consoles.

Nintendo's do not need a chip for games to work on them. Games for nintendo's are cheaper than oz...especially if you get the 25 in one cartridges. So if your after games for a nintendo (for personal use) then yes get them at Bali.

If buying larger stuff things like furniture and statues, carvings paintings etc then they are the go as they hold their value due to quality, uniqueness and workmanship.

Regarding containers you can search cargo agencies in Bali for a quote and the quote should include fumigation and certificates. Once goods arrive in Australia you do have to pay an import tax for all goods, and you will need a customs broker on your side to do arrangements when container arrives, which will be another fee. Also the transport cost to get container to your delivery site.
