We have brought back 4 containers now, and basically did it all ourselves got quotes etc. then once we arrived home we organised a broker in Sydney.

It's great when your goods arrive. I personally think it was well worth it, each time our goods only took 6 weeks to arrive in Sydney with the Cargo Company we used at Bali.

By the time the container is realeased from the dock and delivered to house it can be up to 8 weeks before goods arrive at house. If you have a lot of things in mind that you can get all at the same time and you think you can get enough to fill a container then it is well worth it, or if you can share with a friend who's interested in doing the same.

If purchasing single items and paying by the cubis metre for freight and organising with company that you bought goods from to have them freight it for you too it will take longer as you have to wait until a container load is full to arrive at your destination port. But yeah, if someone personally has a container that they are filling with some room to spare and you can pay them the required amount for cubic metre space then it's a good alternative.

Tom, just a note to you that writing in all capitals is really hard to read...So if writing in normal lower case you will most likely get more responses. As you are new to the forum then you most likely wouldn't be aware of this.

Your kids will love having all the Nintendo games and you will be able to get them a good collection, as they do work in the consoles.

Have a great first trip at Bali!
