..if you are going to travel as far ( well its not really as far as the Bintang Supermarket) go to the PT Exchange. Same directions as gecko has suggested to Legian Pub but keep walking, past Wayan and Friends, Indo National etc to the end of Jln Padma where it hits Jln Legian so your going away from beach end.
Turn right off Jln Padma into Jln Legian and around the big tree and temple and on the opposite side of the road a few shops down LHS is the PT exchange security with guns and the whole works.
Now Im sure there is a PT on Jln Padma Utara ? maybe Im wrong ?
