Hi all! First of all, GREAT FORUM!
Now, after 2 hard weeks of choosing between Brisbane, Phuket or Bali as a holiday destination, I have decided to go with Bali and will be traveling there at the end of July 2008. I will admitt, I am kinda nervous after the bombings and such, but am NOT going to let it ruin my holiday. Can you please give me some info on Bali Dynasty, and is there 2 Dynasty hotels at Bali?? I see I am booked for Dynasty Hotel but see there is Dynasty Resort and a Dynasty Hotel according to Google Earth?! Im flying Garuda Indonesia, is it a good safe airline?
What else should I know about traveling to Bali? And what sort of things can I NOT bring back to Australia cos I really love all the wood carvings, frangipani picture paintings, lamps, etc... How hard is it to get wood back into Oz? and how much to fumigate things?
