.... Always hit (with you hand) when the card slot is. These devices usually come off fairly easily.
I was done when I had my house in Phuket, on Bangla Rd Patong, funnily enought at a Bank of Siam.
But I have disengadged one of these devices by hitting it hard with the palm of my hand, kind of on an diagonal angle. I always do this at ALL ATMS in the world where I travel and even at home, here in little old Brisbane QLD.
And always COVER YOUR PIN NUMBER with your other hand!!!!
