Thanks for that honest report and of course your experienced has been equalled by many others in the past- me included. We are all made differently and some 'enjoy' the banter whilst others feel their privacy is constantly invaded.It would be a shame if you returned to Bali and never sat on a beach again. Perhaps try and get over to Sanur and relax on their beach where no hawkers are allowed.
