from all the "rules" you can't do this, you can't do that, can't you read the signs.... sing along that song was a long time ago and the words are still true.
Bali has one rule "do what pleases you BUT don't hurt anyone" and I personally think it should be the rule worldwide.
You wanna drive on the wrong side on the road, you wanna eat something that's not in the menu, you wanna something in your room (without the huff)you wanna walk down the road and smile without getting a strange look as if you have a problem or are being a smart a%se....Well that's why we go, 9 times (I think) in the past few years.
Yes shopping is great, meals,drinks and accomodation is cheap, but we would'nt go there if it was full of restrictions and sad faced people, might as well stay home.
