We went at the beginning of oct last year and it was very hectic for the first week we were there because of the people over for their holidays from Java both in the hotels and on the roads I have never known it to be so busy we stayed at the Bali Rani and the traffic on the street was unbelievable you were better of walking than catching a taxi we were definately faster. But we are still going mid Oct this year as we love it.
