Went on boxing day so very late december, rained quite heavily for 3 or 4 days,and on and off on other days also it was very muggy, but i felt it was also very busy,and the Padma hotel legian where we stayed was too busy, also it's the wet season so you should spray for daytime mossies are there were cases of dengue fever,if i had a choice i would go in October i just don't think it would be as busy,i think that it would a better time.
