I was going to buy some stone statues for the garden out of Bali, but you have pricked my ears about Jogjakata. Sounds like a good way to save some$$$ and experience a bit more of Indonesia. Do you have any recommendations on where to go for good quality stuff?
Also you should try "Interaction" with the dolphins when your friends go to Bali with you. The best thing I've ever done. They dont advertise it, and its really hard to find information on it, but keep searching, it's brilliant. You get to swim in the ocean with the dolphins, and you get taken out to a pontoon by tinnie (5 mins) and you can cuddle, etc a dolphin. It's wonderful.
Its only new but it is fantastic. I rate it higher than any other tour I've done in Bali (including the Safari Park which I loved too)
