How much money depends on what you intend to buy. If your parents are paying for your meals then you will not need as much. We try to budget for around $100 -$150 per day but that is for 2 adults and includes food, drinks and shopping.
Yes it is well worth going to both the Safari and the zoo they are really great. There is loads to see at the Safari including a water playground area, lots of photo opportunities etc. The Zoo has had a bit of an over haul thanks to the kind generosity of Tony Greenwood from Peel Zoo in WA.
